I am 26 years old, born and raised in Texas and currently living in Decatur, Texas. I grew up on a farm and I'm engaged to the man of my dreams. I love the farm lifestyle and the older I get the more my fashion choices seem tp blend western and city creating a boho look! I have always been very athletic whether I was competing in cheerleading or playing softball collegiately. These days I'm a mom to my one-year-old, Hayes! I'm so excited about where my life is!
I started my blog in 2017, but I've mainly used it as an escape for creativity and writing. I'm always changing the site up! I'm still debating the name choice after a few months but my followers seem to like it. I first started with a niche in western because at the time I was a buyer for a western store and it consumed my life, hint to the name. Now i'm branching out because my style has evolved and I'm finding my true identity more and more each day!
Before the blog I went to Texas Tech University where I studied communications! I graduated in 2015 and since then I've done many things. I've interned for big companies in both social media and graphic design, ran my own business as a graphic designer, and taught Kindergarten for 1 year. I've been all over the map trying to find my calling and I've decided that a normal job/office job isn't really for me. Currently I'm a Real Estate agent and I work for Century 21 Judge Fite! I've always loved home decor and remodeling because my dad works in real estate contracting so I'd love to start investing soon!
I also recently opened a boutique, Olive and Otis! Owning a business of my own has always been a dream of mine and the last couple of months have been the best adventure. You can follow the store on Instagram @shopoliveandotis and shop our new arrivals on our website www.shopoloveandotis.com!
If you're wondering whose behind the camera, it's my lovely Husband Matt! He works full time as a project manager for King Ranch and is super handy! His dream is to become a fireman and so he recently got his EMT and is pursuing the career change. Lucky for me, I've got the best of them all ladies!
